An easy camping option or an all-inclusive festival and road-trip experience to North Stradbroke’s Island Vibe
Four days dedicated to bass, dub, reggae, soul, world music and culture in one of the Australia’s most breath-taking island locations – North Stradbroke Island. If you’re looking to experience Australian festival culture at it’s best in a bucket list holiday destination, this is a MUST!
Island Vibe is Australia’s longest running outdoor festival
And for good reason. The island location is picture-perfect, the atmosphere is amazing, and we haven’t even mentioned the art and music that brings everybody out here. Also, Island Vibe is right on the beach, which means days spent wandering between the utopia of Island Vibe festival and the pearly sands and transparent turquoise waters of North Stradbroke’s Home Beach. This is one of those rare festivals where you return to your normal world completely recharged on life. An infectious bubble of positivity, art, music and happiness set in paradise.
Welcome to Stoketopia – A Festival Within a Festival!
Take a wander through the beachfront campground at Adder Rock to find ‘Stoketopia’ nestled amongst tea trees and pandanus palms. The campground is the ideal spot to be- right on the beach and 10 minutes walk from the festival gates! There’s a covered common area with a schedule of fun things to be involved in like doof stick making, watercolour painting and private daily yoga. Like a tiny festival in itself! There’s hammocks. There’s places to chill. There’s eskis and ice, music and new friends. Theres free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and as much fairy bread as you can eat. Your new mini-community also features an outdoor dressing room with face paint and eco-glitter that awaits your creativity. Because it’s 2019, you’ll also find a charging station, but believe us when we tell you, your phone will be the last thing on your mind!

Road Tripping To Island Vibe
The Stoke Festival Road Trip option makes this event accessible to travellers, those without a set of wheels to call their own, solo adventurers and the budget conscious, putting you with an instant family of vibers. This is the ultimate cost-minimising, friendly, hassle-free festival road trip, designed by festival-going pros to maximize the magic. We’ve taken care of everything – return transport in your own private festival bus, barges from the mainland to the island, a pre-erected tent with mattress and sleeping bag, four-day festival ticket, unlimited (we’re serious) fairy bread, and a fantastic common area that would be a spectacular pain in the ass to set up yourself!
Stoke Travel’s Island Vibe Festival Bus
The festival bus will whisk you away from three locations – Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise and central Brisbane, like a private pre-party on wheels. You can soak in the Island Vibe playlist as your excitement and new friendships mount. The bus takes you all the way to our campsite at Point Lookout, so you forget about having to book barges, and fiddling about with camping gear on public buses, while doing your part to reduce cars on the island, enjoying the views and grouping together to save on fuel and fares!
