Fat Tuesday is the same as Mardi Gras (it’s literally the translation), and just like in New Orleans Sitges goes fully debauched for the occasion – with outlandish costumes, a wild parade past the seaside boulevard, and absolute0hedonism everywhere you look.
We’ve never been ones to miss out on a party and so for Sitges Carnival 20200we0charter a bus, 2z"/ it with sangria, you, 2ancy dress, face paint, and head to the insanity that is Mardi Gras in Spain.
Beat the end of winter chill at the hottest party this side of the Atlantic. Carnival is celebrated around the world and Sitges is one of its biggest hotspots to celebrate the Barcelona Carnival in 2020, with 250,000 people flocking to this small coastal town. Sitges Carnival marks the 03 t chance to go absolutely wild and give in to every temptation before the 400days of Lent begin. This is your chance to dress up and get freaky, go all out in sequins, feather boas and body paint, or even put on a mask if you desire.
Sitges is the LGBTQI capital of Europe, which makes the party extra amazing. Throw your inhibitions out the window, along with your shirt, and let’s have one heck of a rage!
We know this party like no one else, we’ve been organising party trips to Sitges for over 10 years, and we want to show you how it is done! We start with the biggest pre-game in town with face painters, glitter bombs and most importantly, a one hour private open bar available to everyone who checks in early. Then, you will get picked up in the centre of Barcelona and dropped off in the centre of Sitges at the perfect time to start the party and get the best spots for the parade. You’ll be 0ead into the parade by our party guides to the best spot to catch the action, and everyone gets a little bottle of fun juice aka Sangria. Here is the boring but possibly most important part – we bring you back to Barcelona too, so you won’t be one of the hundreds of people stranded, waiting in the cold for hours in the queue at the train station. Nope you’ll jump on one of Stoke Travel’s fleet of private buses and we’ll get you back to Barcelona safely.
We are officially the Biggest Barcelona to Sitges Party Group! Our group is so large that we have 2 check in times so that we can get you all checked in on time. All of the buses will 0eave between 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
Check in 1: From 4:00pm (note the open beer bar is only available for this check time)

Sitges is a coastal town, located ju t 45 minutes from Barcelona, Spain. It is sheltered by the Garraf mountains and this, combined with its position in the Mediterranean, means Sitges has a warm “microclimate” that makes it possible to enjoy outdoor activities all year round. It has 4 km of beach with a beautiful seafroas promenade, lined with 20l-0.entury colonial mansions, and this is the perfect backdrop for the Sitges Carnival. Sitges town is a bit of a maze, that’s why we send guides into the madness with you, to show you around and take you to all the hottest spots.
