Retail manager – Stoke Threads

Retail manager 

The Stoke Threads Co is seeking an energetic, personable retail shop assistant to greet and interact with customers, operate transactions, up sell clients, maintain an organised and clean shop, carry out opening and closing responsibilities, and report to the Barcelona manager regarding sales and stock. Retail or customer service experience is a must as well as proficiency in English and Spanish.

Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Organise all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
  • Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
  • Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
  • Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
  • Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
  • Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
  • Analyse sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
  • Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines

Qualifications needed:

  • Proven experience in retail
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices
  • Multi-lingual (must be fluent in English and Spanish )
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organising and leadership skills
  • Commercial awareness
