    Guides Guide

    Itinerary

The beauty about Stoke is we don’t tie you down with strict itineraries to follow so this is a rough guide to your time at Kings Day Amsterdam.

    April 25

    • 2pm onwards: Start the trip with a beer and get ready to celebrate!
    • You’ve got the afternoon and night to go out and explore what Amsterdam has to offer…Might we suggest a nice coffee shop, or if you’ve feeling adventurous, the red light district

    April 26

    • Have a slow morning, breakfast is included at camp and make sure you’ve got a drink in your hand.
    • 10am onwards: We’ll be kick starting the party.
    • 12pm: The Walking Tour. We’ll meet and leave from the campsite earlier, this includes; Red Light District, Damsquare, The Old Church and much more.
    • 4pm: The Walking Tour finishes and you’ll have 2 hours to chill at camp.
    • 6pm: Pub Crawl. The best way to reserve your spot in a bar (on Kings Night most bars are full and you need to have your place reserved to get in)
    • 11pm: We’d recommend resting up to prepare yourself for the antics of tomorrow but feel free to keep the party going in town, you will always find a bar where the drinks are flowing.

    April 27

    • Today’s the day, King’s Day!
    • 9am: Breakfast is served to help nurse the hangover
    • 10am: We’ll start walking to the ferry where the boat party begins so everyone knows where to meet later that day. Make sure you are wearing everything orange and you have packed as much booze as you can into your Stoke bag!
    • 11am: The streets start to come alive with massive parties all over the city and canals. Stick to the streets and bounce from market to market, bar to bar.
    • 4:30pm: You should be at the check in point and be ready to  jump on our private canal boat party with 3 hours of unlimited alcohol and a DJ providing the beats.
*Make sure to reserve your spot, last day to book is the 23rd of April.
    • 7pm: The boat will return to the drop off point.. the streets begin to wind down but you can always find a party raging somewhere.

    April 28

    • We should have well and truly excelled ourselves at partying Dutch-style and we could possibly be broken
    • 9am: We’ll struggle our way through goodbyes over breakfast, but not before we’ve swapped Facebooks and photos and planned our next trip with Stoke Travel! If you have a full day here still, we can organise optional tours to see the tulips, Bols Museum or the wind mills.
    • Check out will be at 10am, but no problems hanging around camp for the day if you have later travel plans.
