    Springfest in Munich is basically Oktoberfest in April and May. With all the attractions of the famous German beer festival – albeit on a slightly smaller scale – Springfest, or Frühlingsfest in the local language, is the often overlooked, but no less amazing Bavarian beer festival. There you’ll find the same giant beers, beer-drinking food, beer halls rammed with revellers dancing to the oompah bands and fairground rides and attractions… just with less tourists and more locals.
