    Stoke Travel was born as a reaction against the outdated group travel mould, the herd on-herd off bus tours that would tick off a new European city each day, or the hand-holding school camp style trips that fresh travellers would find themselves on. At Stoke we tried to do something different, where you could travel with the benefits of the group – the almost limitless party buddies, interesting people to chat to and potential adventure mates – all the while maintaining the independence that young travellers crave. 

    At every Stoke Travel trip and festival campsite you’ll find an ambience that encourages the group to mingle, to get to know people from all around the world through the universal social lubrication provided by an open and unlimited beer and sangria bar. We provide so much more than just accommodation, with meals often included, entertainment including lives bands and DJs, the aforementioned open bar, and an environment to make new friends from all walks of life, and every corner of the globe.

    This is the perfect environment to enter with your group, whether you’re travelling as a part of a stag or hen do (bachelor/bachelorette party), with a sports team, university, school or college group, work mates, or any collection of friends, acquaintances – or even enemies. Stoke Travel trips often get into the 1000s, and so we have the infrastructure and expertise to accommodate your group no matter how big or small, and when you arrive you won’t overwhelm the existing crowd.       Group Travel To Oktoberfest

      If there is anywhere on earth that should be travelled as a group, it’s Munich’s Oktoberfest – and more specifically our Stoketoberfest campsite. Oktoberfest is one of the world’s biggest festival – and the single largest devoted to drinking beer. Your group will find a home amongst the seven million and more beer lovers who make their way to Munich every year, and there’s no better place to bond than in the beer halls, over a few litres of German-brewed Bavarian beers. 

      Stoketoberfest is our festival within the Oktoberfest festival, a place where 8000 travellers will meet to sleep, eat, drink and dance both before and after their time in the beer halls. Stoketoberfest is a collection of the best travellers from around the world, and with our different accommodation options – including group teepees – you’ll have no issues finding the best fit for your group. 

      Surf And Snow Travel As A Group

      There’s no better way to get together as a group than with a healthy side of pain and gain while trying an extreme sport for the first time (or perfecting your skills if you’re already an adept hand). Our San Sebastian Surf Camp is ready to take groups of all sizes and offer all meals, surf equipment hire, daily surf instruction, yoga every morning, party and jam nights, and special events and tours throughout San Sebastian and the Basque Country (you absolutely have to take your group to the traditional cider house, with its world-best steaks and all-you-can-drink apple cider). 

      Or if falling on the ski fields is more your jam, don’t go past our Andorra ski and snowboard trips, which your group can arrive to by either meeting us in Andorra, or making your way to Barcelona and riding the three-hour bus with us up to the Pyrenees. These ski trips offer the best combination of snow sports and aprés-ski good times, with full days spent arse-up on the mountains and the nights spent bottoms up in Andorra’s bars. 

      Group Travel To Europe’s Famous Festivals

      Oktoberfest isn’t the only European festival suitable for your group. Spain’s biggest street party, San Fermines, and its infamous bull run might be suitable for your group, or La Batalla de Vino de Haro, or the Haro Wine Fight, which is, as the name suggests, a battle in the village of Haro, where red wine is the main armament. Perhaps you’d prefer to hurl tomatoes, in which case a trip to Valencia’s La Tomatina could be on the cards for your group, or any of the other weird, wild and culturally authentic smaller festivals found around Spain.
