Barcelona’s only unpretentious wine ~~tasting~~ drinking party, where we swallow, not spit wine from Spain’s most renowned wine regions. This wine party is for everybody – wine lovers, wine fans, beer lovers who are ready for conversion, and anybody who’s down to party. Why have your Hen do/bachelorette party in Barcelona

Well apart from the city being a top tourist destination for any body, at any time, Barcelona is also home to many activities that’ll make your hen do experience unforgettable (or impossible to remember…).

You can’t beat the Barcelona weather

We just can’t get past that sunny Mediterranean climate that Spain in general, and Barcelona and the Costa Brava in particular, is famous for. Even in the colder months you can spend your days sipping white wine on terraces with the sun on your bare shoulders, and the beach can be enjoyed all year-round (but from April until October is when the locals seem to lose all of their clothes. We particularly enjoy the months on either side of summer proper, May and June, or September are faves, but anytime is the perfect time for a Barcelona hen do.

And Barcelona is close to the UK

Budget flights leave the UK every hour of the day to Barcelona, and the trip is a mere couple of hours, meaning you can have breakfast at home and be lunching on La Rambla without breaking a sweat. Also, the city is connected to the airport by a regular bus service that takes no more than 15 minutes and costs less than a fiver.

Barcelona won’t break the bank

Barcelona is cheaper for everything, yeah, everything, and the favourable pound-to-euro exchange rate doesn’t hurt either. In downtown Barcelona you can get a three-course meal with wine for little more than a tenner, a bottle of cava in a bar will cost even less than that, and when it’s time to go clubbing your entry fee will include your first cocktail (probably of many).

You can’t beat Barcelona’s nightlife

No matter which night of the week Barcelona goes crazy, with bars and pubs, clubs and even restaurants all offering up an unbeatable vibe and ambience. You can start on any of the city’s terraces, for coffees, or white wine, or something more special like a cava, an Aperol, or the city’s famous vermouth, before making your way to any number of chic, authentic and fun restaurants. After that the city’s many bar districts light up, with El Born being a new favourite for cocktails and dancing, before making your way to a club that won’t close until the sun comes up (and won’t get really pumping until around 3am). If you can have fun in Barcelona, then you probably can’t have fun anywhere.

Don’t forget Barcelona’s sightseeing

It’s not all hedonism, ok maybe it is, but we shouldn’t forget that Barcelona has unbeatable tourist attractions dotted all over the city, from the historic to the artistic, the gorgeous and the informative. The city’s story is written in its architecture and any stroll will reveal famous monuments and amazing structures you’ve never heard of. Plus the shopping is divine, so don’t forget to spend some time ambling along one of the city’s many shopping precincts, like Passeig de Gracia, which is where you’ll find all the high-end boutiques your worse half would prefer you just walked on past.
