Junior Social Media Marketing Specialist

Stoke Travel & Bread Gang Travel are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our growing marketing team as a Junior Social Media Marketing Specialist with a focus on content creation for platforms like TikTok and instagram. Within this role, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing videos for various social media platforms, ensuring high-quality and on-brand content. Monitor social media analytics to track the performance of content and campaigns, and identify and generate new business opportunities through research, outreach, and relationship building. This role focuses on Brand Gang Travel but will also involve different projects for the Stoke Travel Co. 

YOU WILL…

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Create all content across all platforms focusing on video creation and editing.
• Up-sell and cross sell – Help existing customers/agents expand their booking and group size.
• Identify top B2B leads and be the first point of contact with potential new business opportunities
• Create and present stellar pitches to potential new business opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects

YOU ARE…

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented  with good multitasking and organisational ability
• Fluent in English, any other language is a bonus!
• Have a can-do attitude, somebody who wants to go above and beyond
• Are a self starter, able to self motivate and proactively set and monitor your own tasks to hit targets
• Comfortable in a flexible, laid back environment without strict hierarchy
• Motivated by hitting sales targets and sales driven
• You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing startup environment
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills, experienced in writing proposals and pitching products.
• You’re a real ideas person and like to push boundaries.
• A curious and willing to learn enthusiast, who wants to grow and improve with us.
• Experience in a Sales in the Event, Travel or Hospitality sector will be highly regarded.
