The Stoke App project manager

The Stoke App is a start up project, with the support of, and intrinsic links to The Stoke Brands Co’s established travel company, Stoke Travel.

The Stoke App is a new mobile application from The Stoke Brands Co. which soft-launched into the market in 2023. The Stoke App is the “Travel buddy with benefits” aimed at young travellers who want to squeeze every last drop from their travelling experience.  Providing Europe’s best trips, festivals and experiences curated for its users. Users can explore travel options, fill their bucket list, share plans with their crew, book with ease and manage bookings. Every trip and activity is enhanced with unique member-only benefits, and all members are rewarded with generous travel benefits which they can use wherever they go.

We are looking for a project manager that has familiarity with software development, has a good understanding of the  Agile frameworks and has outstanding organisational skills. We want to hear from candidates who have a commercial mindset, problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability in combination with excellent communication and leadership skills.

YOU WILL 

• Manage the project’s scope and timeline for both the App development and Commercial growth projects
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Work with product owners to manage the roadmap
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Help teams implement changes effectively
• Deliverables presentation at the end of each sprint
• Guide development and commercial teams
• Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

YOU ARE

• You’re familiar with project management methodologies, and will have project management experience ideally gained in the travel industry (tech, marketing, sales)
• Previous experience delivering high quality digital solutions within the B2C market, any B2B product experience especially in a Saas area is a bonus
• Business development experience and familiarity with sales tools like Pipedrive is a bonus
• Comfortable using PM tools like Jira, and Confluence
• Responsible for completing project documentation to keep internal and external teams informed on project progress
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, you will be able to juggle internal and external communications and tasks
• Ability to analyze the roadmap and backlog to ensure project deadlines are met, and within budget, and communicate with the product management teams as soon as the deadline or budget might be in jeopardy.
• Confidently liaise with internal and external teams, and build strong relationships with them
• Ability to identify potential project issues and put plans in place to overcome these, suggesting improvements to processes

This is fundamentally a project management role with product management elements.
