Learn to surf on the longest beach in the region. Zarautz is renowned around these parts as where the surfers go to surf. With a curved beach dynamic that allows both big (experts) and small (the rest of us) waves to break along the same bit of sand, there is something here for everyone. Plus we make a day of it, with lunch included and time to check out another of Guipuzkoa’s treasures. Meet us in Zarautz for your Zarautz Surf Day Trip and have soooo much fun.
This is a guide itinerary with everything in the all inclusive package. But the beauty of staying at the beach camp is that you can do whatever you like, whenever you like, your way.
Wake up to a delicious cooked breakfast whether it be pancakes, bacon and eggs or a ham and cheese omelette. Head to the beach to wash away the headaches (and mistakes) of the night before. A couple of hours of surfing, relaxing, soaking up the sun and playing beach games. After surfing hard we’ll brave that first icy cold beer of the day. There are tonnes of different activities in the surrounding region to keep everyone occupied. We can head into San Sebastian to its famous pintxos bars, go on free walking tours, go horse riding, paragliding, on wine tasting tours or simply head to the beach for more surfing, or enjoy the sunshine from our terrace in all its glory. Finish your afternoon activities with a cider on the hill, watching the sunset and then enjoy a big hearty dinner to line the stomach.
Surfing, volleyball, skateboarding, exploring the town, swimming, sun baking, fishing, cliff jumping, drinking beer, and much more.
Party nights in San Sebastian, movie nights, dinners in our favourite restaurants in the area and visiting the many festivals that dot the region in summer.
Pickup from San Pelaio train station
2 hour surf lesson with your wetsuit & board included.
Lunch and free time on the beach/to surf
We’ll head back to our surf house for unlimited beer, sangria & cidra!
