Andorra Ski Weekenders
FEB 6-8 | FEB 13-15 | FEB 20-22 | MAR 6-8
Stoke’s Andorra Ski weekenders: where we do all the nice things and have all the good times we can in three days. Only a couple of hours from downtown Barcelona, the amount of fun jam-packed into one weekend will enrich your soul and soothe your travel-bug (but maybe damage your liver). We’ll be shredding and partying, maybe stacking it, definitely treating ourselves, and hanging out with fellow powder-loving ratbags.
We’ve worked hard to get the mix of snow sports and partying just right, splitting our time between the mountain and the après-ski* below, and we’ve found that the best formula is to have as much fun as is physically possible over the weekend and then pass out on the bus on the way home – content, a little sore, and with a small hangover.
*For the uninitiated, après-ski, literally “after ski”, refers to drinking booze after – and sometimes during – a day on the slopes.

RIDE WITH US ski and snowboard trips from barcelona to andorra
Our Andorra Ski Weekenders proves that European alpine travel isn’t just for the elites with furs and trust funds – with our all-inclusive packages we’ll take you up the mountain for the weekend of your life… You’ll be heading home with new mates, new bruises, and a collection of stories to make your mates jealous (if the large number of flaming shotskis hasn’t blurred them out).
On Friday we’ll meet in downtown Barcelona and get to know our new best friends for the weekend (and beyond!), throw our luggage on the bus, then ride the two-or-so hours through Catalunya and the foothills of the Pyrenees into Andorra. Once we get to our hotel there’s time to check into our rooms (shared, unless you’d like to upgrade to a private) and maybe even explore the village. We’ll break the bread and get to know each other over the flowing wine and conversation, then end the night in a bar where it’s known to get wild (see flaming shotski below). Or for those not feeling the bar, some of us can stay behind and play card games in our cozy hotel, and be first on that gondola up in the morning.
On Saturday we’re up and heading across the road to the gondola, where we will start to explore the mountain of Grandvalira. Ski hire is included, but snowboarders are welcome too with a tiny surcharge. If you’re a first timer, or a bit out of practice, now’s the time to grab a lesson, otherwise let’s hit the lifts and spend the day whizzing around the slopes. Lunch isn’t included, but at the end of the day we’ll all be meeting at our favourite bar at the bottom of the slopes for a little bit of après-ski fun, where the DJ will be playing bangers and we can ease out the kinks with some drinks.
Back in the hotel we’ll have the option to dine as a group, or grab something more intimate if that’s what you’re vibing. Generally, on Saturday night we find our way around our favourite Andorra bars and clubs because despite the sore muscles, this goldmine of a country has too much to offer to call it early.
We’re up bright and early again on Sunday for one last day of looking wonderful on the mountain before heading back to Barcelona. We’re going to be tired, we’re going to be sore, we might even be a bit hungover, but we will be relaxed, with a smile from ear to ear, and a whole bunch of new friends.
Add some time in Barcelona to your Andorra Ski trip
We take care of everything from Barcelona onwards for your Andorra ski trip, but the majority of our travellers have to get to Barcelona first! While this is an easy, cheap and frequent trip from anywhere in Europe, many of our guests choose to extend their stay by spending a night in Barcelona before and after their ski trip. This saves the stress of arriving late to Barcelona on the Friday of the trip, or similarly returning late on Sunday, plus you get a whole two extra days to party, with all this for an extra €100 per person:
- Everything that’s included in the Andorra Ski Weekender, plus:
- Thursday night and Sunday night hostel accommodation in central Barcelona
- A welcome calçotada (traditional Catalan wine-filled grilled feast with special spring onions) dinner
- Hit up a bar to keep the good vibes going to get to know your fellow Ski Weekenders
- Club entry on the Sunday night when we return (if you’re up for it).
Just after a bed to crash on? Our mates at Onefam are giving you guys 10% off at their Sants and Les Corts locations when you book with code ONEFAMXANDORRA until March 8th.
The Perfect Ski Trip for your group
Year upon year, our Andorra Ski Weekenders have been a crowd pleaser for a number of sports teams, university clubs and societies, birthday parties, stag and hen’s dos, work retreats, any large collective of people you can think of really. With equal parts emphasis on the snow sports and the après ski shenanigans on the itinerary, this is the weekend where everyone in your circle can indulge in what they please, whether that chasing that adrenaline rush, relaxing with a mountain view, or partaking on the biggest bender of your life – whatever get’s you guys shaking off the winter blues.
For groups of over 10, hit us up at info@stoketravel.com, and we’ll see what magic we can work for ya 😉

AN OFTEN OVERLOOKED PYRENEAN TREASURE.
Squeezed in between Spain and France high in the Pyrenees, Andorra is usually omitted from most travelers’ itineraries. Well it shouldn’t be! It’s so beautiful your eyes will weep snow flakes, and right next to Barcelona. We’ll be taking it all in from the slopes of Grandvalira or Pal-Arinsal.
That’s right, Andorra is tax free, so drinking, smoking and pornography is cheaper here than in other European countries. Hooray!
You’ll be skiing and boarding in the glorious Grandvalira resort, based out of El Pas de la Casa sector – check out the stats…
- Largest ski resort in the Pyrenees, and one of the largest in Europe
- Elevation of 2640m – making this the highest point in Andorra
- Skiable area of 215kms, comprised of 140 slopes split into 7 sectors
- 23 green runs, 55 blue runs, 43 red runs, and 19 black runs – making this ideal for a range of skill levels!
- Freestyle parks and night-skiing runs
- Our home sector of El Pas de la Casa is renowned for having the best après-ski parties in Andorra
