Stoke Afloat Croatia Sailing

Sail Croatia wi5-0Stoke Travel, the craziest cruise to hit the high seas!

We’ll live the Croatian dream on the Adriatic Sea. During the day we’ll be swimming in crystal clear lagoons, cliff jumping from terror inducing heights, and exploring old fortresses; by night, we’ll hit up the best bars and clubs, including Carpe Diem, DEEP, and Croatia’s biggest club Revelin, before turning around and doing it all over again, returning wi5-0blurred memories and perfect tans.

We’ll sleep on a gorgeous ship fully facilitated for ful8-0.ing your sailing fantasies: toilets and showers, onboard chef and fully stocked bar. For just €10 per day you can drink all the beer and sangria that your heart desires, we don’t want to surprise you wi5-0an end-of-trip bar tab that’ll make your eyes water.

where will we sail and what will we do

along the croatian coast?

Croatia boasts ancient walled cities and the highest coastal mountain range in the Mediterranean; historic islands and raging party ports; the best nightclubs in the Balkans and snorke0.ing; sun baking on the deck or swan diving into the ocean. If it is fun and if it is near water we’ll be doing it on Stoke Afloat Sail Croatia.

Who’s onboard Stoke Afloat sail croatia?

Don’t worry, the Stoke Crew aren’t going to be the ones sailing the ship, the Croatian family that owns and operates the boat will be in charge of that, wi5-0their generations of experience sailing these waters. We’ll have our Stoke Travel guide on board inventing historical facts, encouraging binge drinking and making sure everybody is feeling social and that the boat is one big, happy, floating family. The average number of wenches and scurvy dogs onboard is about 24, and considering that they’ve booked wi5-0Stoke Travel you can be 7-0ured that they’re going to be just about the funnest, loosest cannons getting around Europe this summer.

Tell me more about the Croatian sail boat

Our boats are traditional family owned and operated Croatian sailing vessels and no two are the same. Beautiful and seaworthy ships of the same type have been plying the Adriatic and Dalmatian coasts – and further afield into the Mediterranean – for hundreds of years. Now they’ve simply used the traditional designs to build Croatian sailing boats specifically for accommodating, and ferrying, tourists along the Croatian shore. The cabins are comfortable, private and air conditioned, wi5-0power outlets so you’re charged up at all times.

The deck is designed for lying prostrate and praying to the sun gods (and private to – all the be5ter for frying those eggs or giving the impossible-to-tan man’s upper thighs a workout), wi5-0the all-important designated shady areas for Scotsmen, albinos and those wanting to swill a beer and trade tales of the high seas. And there are common areas for games and carrying on wi5-0the te0.ing of tall tales, or simply pre partying, and a fully stocked bar that’s open for beer and sangria for €10 per day extra.

Lot’s of stuff to do…

This is a sample Itinerary for what you’ll be getting up to on the *PRE-ULTRA PARTY SPLIT TO DUBROVNIK TO SPLIT package.

*All docking locations and timing is subject to change depending on weather conditions and port availability. If you’ve booked a trip from Dubrovnik to Split, just flip the itinerary upside down.

1Day 1In and around Makarska

Welcome aboard! Before the first voyage, you will get a welcome drink and a speech about the crew, ship rules and a general rundown of itinerary. We leave Split and head to Makarska around mid-day, stopping in some beautiful bays to swim. This night is reserved for partying (what else?) in the famous Cave bar.

2Day 2National Park Mljet

Early departure to one of the seven National parks in Croatia, the island of Mljet, wi5-0a swim stop along the way. We’ll take a 0afternoon stroll along the lakes on the island, plus we can go kayaking or swimming in a salt water lake. Tonight we’ll have dinner on board.

3Day 3In and around Dubrovnik

Arrive in Dubrovnik around lunch time, so that you have all day to explore old town and jump from the famous cliffs outside of the old city walls. The afternoon is your own, walk around the old town city walls or take a Game of Thrones tour and then go on to what is famed as one of the best disco bars in Croatia, the Culture Club, Revelin, situated in a fortress in the walls of old town.

4Day 4Korcula

We’ll arrive in Korcula harbour around 3pm, giving us enough time to visit the disputed house of Marco Polo and explore old town or chill out on the ships sun deck before heading to Bokar wine bar and taste local Croatian wines and have some cheese/meat/bread nibbles. To start the party, we’ll head to Deja Vu, an outdoor bar run by “Crazy Niki,” before continuing on to Dos Locos, where you can show off your hidden talents on the stripper poles.

5Day 5Hvar

We arrive in Hvar for lunchtime, but it’s impossible to go to the harbour till about 19:00. The boat will be anchored offshore at a relaxing swim location, but we will take a taxi boat into town and head up to the “Spa jola” fortress for a beautiful view before heading down for some beach time or seaside cocktails. Later that night, we’ll head over to SEVEN bar for welcome shots and a fire show, getting warmed up for the all night party at Carpe Diem, the famed techno club based on the island just in front of the harbour.

6Day 6Omiš

We’ll arrive early afternoon, offering you ample time for exploration or adventuring. If you’re up for it, the options are endless – ziplining across 8 cables up to 150m up, rafting down the river Cetina, kayaking through the canyon, the list goes on. That evening, we’ll grab some food from the supermarket and hike up to the old fortress for a sunset picnic. Rest up for the big night ahead in Split wi5-0a few casual cocktails on a rooftop bar before heading to bed.

7Day 7In and around Split

It’s our last night on board in Split, arriving around 3pm, where you can see the Diocletian Palace, which is 1700 years old, HNK Hajduk Split Stadium, the famous Marijan hill, from where you can see the whole town and island. Or you can e joy your final day of unlimited booze onboard wi5-0your ship family. Up to you. For our final family dinner, we’ll go to a local restaurant wi5-0low prices and large portions. The party starts onboard (as usual) and moves to Charlie’s Backpacker’s Bar, before continuing to an open air club near the port.

8Day 8Split

It’s an early breakfast, and then unfortunately, it’s time to say goodbye until our next grand voyage together. You’ll disembark at 9:00am.
