    Barcelona
The America’s Cup in Barcelona 2024

The America’s Cup is coming to Barcelona in 2024 and as Barcelona’s number one party boat operators it makes sense that you come and view the race from the sea with us.

Where to watch the America’s Cup in Barcelona

Secure your spot on the sidelines of Barcelona’s sporting event of the year, and watch Team New Zealand go head to head with the UK’s Royal Yacht Squadron. The best place to watch the America’s Cup in Barcelona is in the thick of it, of course, specifically from one of our party boats out on the sea and amongst the action.

The beaches are about to be flooded with spectators and the fanzones erected around the port will come alive with revelry. Sure, you can join the plebs there, but why not opt for this once-in-a-lifetime experience to get up close and personal with this iconic race and view from the literal sidelines of the route? We’ll watch the world’s fastest sailboats from our (admittedly pretty slow) catamaran, setting up along the route for three hours of watching the race pass us by live. For the moments when the race enters our blind spot, we have screens set up playing live coverage and commentary. Our package includes 2 free drinks, an open bar of soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages available for cheap to fuel your celebratory drinks through out the rest of the night.

Where to stay for the America’s Cup in Barcelona

Like any city with a major sporting event going on, most accommodation providers are going to be hiking their prices during this busy season when the demand skyrockets. If you’re trying to be savvy, keep the splurging for the beachside clubs after the races, and explore what’s on offer on Hostelworld instead. If Hostel-slumming isn’t for you, or you’re visiting with a large group and would like your own space, the sooner you get your accommodation secured the better, as prices won’t be getting any lower.

When is the America’s Cup in Barcelona

The 37th America’s Cup will be hosted in Barcelona between August and October in 2024. The last time the America’s Cup was held in Spain was in 2007 in Valencia.

    Barcelona, Spain

The home of Gaudi, Dali, the 1992 Olympics, FCB and the French Bulldog.

It’s a tourist Mecca. Thousands upon millions upon billions of sun-seeking, fun-loving revellers flock here every year and there’s a bloody good reason for it. It’s because Barcelona is awesome. It has a bit of everything, but still retains a small city vibe. The nightlife is nothing less than hectic and intense, the day life is a myriad of colours, sites, sounds, smells, street performers and sangria.

It’s a place you’ve just gotta see. And we’re pretty much experts… if we do say so ourselves… so if you need anything else we’ll show you Barcelona from the Stoke point of view.

    Come fly to us

Wherever you are in the world you can fly to Barcelona. Ryanair and Easyjet are budget favourites that fly to Barcelona regularly. One thing to remember is that Girona Airport which is sometimes the cheapest option is an hour by bus from downtown Barcelona.

    Choo choo train

A great option if you’re coming to Barcelona from elsewhere in Spain, or from France. Check out Renfe for trains from within Spain and snfc for those departing within France.

    Buses are for legends

Check Eurolines for international buses to Barcelona, or Monbus for buses from within Spain.
